Weather

This is our forcast for the next week, all over 10 degrees above normal, YUCK! I so am not a hot weather person, bring back the 80s!

A Few of our Favorite Things

We got Olivia this game at a garage sale this weekend and she LOVES it, it actually is kinda fun to play a real game with her.
We started watching Signing Time to try to teach Zachary some signs, he could care less but Olivia loves it and has learned tons of signs. Check out their website for some fun activities too.

My favorite sunscreen ever, it isnt greasy or stinky and it doesnt run into my eyes and even better we have yet to get a sunburn all summer when wearing it. Great stuff!

My favorite candy bar and thats saying a lot since I dont really like chocolate that much. They are really hard to find but my sister just gave me two of hers what a great sister!

Fun in the Backyard

So after church and naps yesterday Rob took the kids out to the yard to water the plants and garden. Our kids sure love to be outside and they also love the hose!
Look out here is our future fireman.
Sipping the hose water, ewww!
Olivia with her buggies, again ewww!
Splash!
Look out here he comes!
Dueling hoses.
Click on this one to see his cute expression, like he is aiming at something!

Splash Park Week 2

We went to the Splash Park again on Friday, it was great fun! I didnt get as many pictures since I had three kids to keep an eye on but here are some cute ones of Zachary.

Not Bad At All

Watching the three kids was not bad at all. Millie is such a sweet little girl and Olivia just loved having her here. I took all of them to WalMart and to the Splash Park, three really wasnt that much harder then two. I guess its time for us to have another baby!
All of the little ones in pjs. Olivia wanted to be twins with Millie and luckily I have two of several of her jammies so we could dress them the same.
Not very in focus but still dang cute!

This week

This week I am tending our neighbors little girl who just turned two! I need to go places with the little monkeys so I dont go crazy. My plan is to go to a couple of stores tomorrow, Wheeler Farm on Thursday morning (and luckily to a bridal shower that night so I will get a little break), and to the Splash Park on Friday morning. Feel free to join us or come over and play, the more the merrier, right?!

Aunty Jen's New Pool

My sister has moved to a condo that has a pool! Olivia couldn't be happier. I thought Zachary would like it too but he wanted nothing to do with the water. Rob tried to get Olivia to float but she was not happy about that. She got pretty fast in her floaty though.

Farm Trip

We took a drive down to Mt Pleasant to visit Rob's grandparents on Saturday. It turned out to be a very long day but the kids had fun playing at the farm. We got to see a real sheep herd being herded which was fun. Zachary had fun climbing and running as usual. Olivia was really into visiting with Great Grandpa.

Splash Park

We went to the splash park on Friday with some friends from the ward. We again got there early before it was crowded and hot. It was really fun. Perfect for little kids. Zachary had the most fun climbing on the fence and playing with the drains. Olivia actually had fun running around in the water and getting squirted. I actually got to talk to some adults, a great day for all of us!

Zoo Trip!

I took the kids to the zoo with some other families from our ward on Tuesday, it was great fun! We left early enough that it wasn't too terribly hot while we were there. I really liked the white alligator and of course the red panda. Olivia liked the train ride and the elephants and being with her old nursery teacher who she just loves. Zachary liked running around and the birds and animals in the desert area.

5 Years!

In honor of our 5 yr anniversary here is a fun tag!

1. What date is your anniversary? Today~ June 20th
2.Where did you get married? We were sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple
3. Who proposed and how? Well I forced Rob to ask me after his oh so romantic question of "so when do you think we should?" Really Rob is seriously the romantic one of the two of us but this didn't turn out to be the proposal of my dreams! He tried to do a better job when he gave me my ring by taking me up behind the capital building where there is a great view of the temple and the city.
4. How long were you engaged? a very long 4 1/2 months
5. What was the favorite part of your wedding day? I would have to say seeing Rob's expression when he saw me in my wedding dress
6. What would you change if you could? Well I would have loved to have had my family there in the temple with me but my mom and sister were right there when we went in and came out. I would have just had the wedding dinner and not the reception the next day, it was fun and all but we could have taken the money we spent on that and had a lot more fun!

7.Wedding colors? I think they were periwinkle, light pink, and yellow.
8.Do you remember anything special from your ceremony? Any good advice? A comical moment?
Ceremony: Our sealer really focused on the Proclamation to the Family, honestly I wish I could remember more of what he said.
Good advice: Again I am fairly sure someone said something really important but apparently after 5 years I have forgotten a lot of the little details.
Comical moments: I do remember that wearing my wedding dress in the car from the temple to our dinner and then again from our dinner to our hotel was really uncomfortable.
9.Were you clean or messy when you cut your wedding cake? We were very nice with our cake.
10.Where did you go on your honeymoon? We spent our first night at a bed and breakfast in Salt Lake City, our second night in our apartment in Rob's parents house, and then went for a week to Big Bear, California.
11.How long have you been married now? 5 wonderful years

Piggies and Paws

How cool are these, I know not too many pictures on on the site but they were on Good Things Utah and were amazing!! Someone I know needs to invite me to one of their parties!

Good Things Utah

Gina with the hosts and her husband and daughter.
The whole group of us there to see Gina!
On Tuesday I had the fun chance to go see Good Things Utah live and watch my next door neighbor Gina co-host. She did a great job and was just too cute as a co-host. There is no way I could ever have done that. It was really interesting to see the whole process from behind the scenes, everything looked so much smaller in person. Rob watched our kids and Millie and according to him they were all great.

Bye Bye Wisdom Teeth

So I can now join the majority of adults and say that I have had my wisdom teeth removed and have had a filling. I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed, I think 8 fillings, and 1 crown done on Thursday. Those were my first fillings ever, I swear that having babies killed my teeth. Rob was nice enough to take Thursday and Friday off to watch the kids and let me recover but I felt really good just really hungry.

Arent they cute when they sleep?

Olivia comes down to sleep on the stairs every night, this night she did such a good job tucking her toys in with her.
Napping with Daddy.
I dont know how this can be comfortable but it is how he usually sleeps.

Fun at the Playground

Peeking out of the holes on the playground.
Zachary loves to do anything dangerous.
He can also hang onto to anything for a very long time.
Olivia thinks the rings are fun to swing on, too.

Olivia

Our little Lu is getting bigger everyday. She is becoming a super helper with the laundry and loves to tell Zachary no. We have been taking her to the dentist and it looks like she will need to go to the hospital to be sedated and have her molars filled.
Our monkey in her "cage".
Helping daddy plant the garden.
In the new cubes.

Zachary

We had Zachary's 15 month appt on Thursday, he is still our little guy weighing just over 22 pounds which is 17% on the growth charts. The doctor was impressed at how active he is and wasn't worried that he isn't talking much. He did good except when the doctor tried to look in his ears and when he got his shot.
Zachary LOVES the four-wheeler. He can climb up onto it all by himself.
New tooth.
A better shot of the new tooth.

Elect Lady

I have been having a hard time putting my feelings into words and could never had said it as well as this http://smallwoodhood.blogspot.com/2008/06/perspective.html

But here is my attempt: Last Friday a wonderful lady in our ward passed away. She was the best Relief Society teacher I have ever heard, always more interested in me then in sharing things about her, a wonderful mother and wife and grandmother, she was a great example of how we all should be. I will miss her terribly but I know that if anyone was ready to be judged she was. She lived everyday to the fullest. Her funeral was today and while it was sad to say goodbye it was joyous to know that she is free of the pain she has lived with. It was nice to see all the pictures from her life that were at the viewing, she was always so striking. Thank you Carol for your example, I hope I can try each day to be more like you.
